Who Am I & Why Wet?
Truth telling, this label is the part of me that I give to the world. This is me learning, this is me finding inspiration from life and using my hands to bring it to life.
Water is the element that majors my astrogoly chart, I believe I am inlove with water and she is inlove with me.
Water represents cleansing, power, softness, life and colour.
Wet has so many different meanings. I think the first place most people's minds go is sexuality. Wet Label does feel to be naturally aligned in sensuality.
Drip is a term used in rap culture for fashion. Music is such a big part of where I find inspiration and is basically my drive in life. Drip//Wet?
Anyway, Wet was born after Otto And Grace (my first label) and came to me repeatedly on my beach walks in Suffolk Park, Bundjalung country.
Basically, all that I want do in this label is make beautiful clothing for all sizes and genders. Clothing that has been carefully crafted with materials that have either been circulating already or made from natural fibres.

If i was to do any kind of business, it would be sustainable, with care for the Earth and all that is nature and life. I would say 95% of my whole operation is pre-loved - from machinery and fabrics to my ironing board, pretty much everything was reused and circulating already.

If you've made it this far, you probably know that fast fashion is one of the worlds top three poluters, not the expression of fashion, but fast fashion and dirty big companies.
Most of our major designer labels are not helping the cause. I'd love for this label to be recognised as designer but not at the expense of this beautiful place we call home. Maybe one day I'll show them that there are better ways of doing things.
I don't think this career is easy but it brings me so much satisfaction, gives me a sense of purpose and let's me connect with beautiful people.
